After having moved there are some of my things, which aren't going to follow me in the future. Good things, which still have a good life spand.
But is it just me, who thinks, that it is so exhausting to have something for sale? I have 5 ads in a sales magazine right now, and there are a lot of curious people, who take a look and a few, who react.
When a person then takes contact, then the dance begins. Back and forth. Is the quality OK? Is it the right price? How about freight? Who pays what? Especially the price is hard. Most people want everything for nothing. I have always learned, that a sale should be good for the one, who buys as well as for the one, who sells. Then you can always come back and make a new purchase/sale.
And when you have gone through several inquiries, spent a lot of time, and it sounds like a sale, you hear no more! It makes me so mad! The least you can do, when you have used other peoples time is to send a message, that you have changed your mind. That is honest talk.
Four of the 5 ads expire today, and if there will be no buyers, I will give the items to a charity shop! Rather that than selling something for a ridiculous price. Because hopefully people don't go into a shop, which supports a good cause and make hard bargains. Or...?
I am definitely a bad sales(wo)man!
