I never buy souvenirs, when I travel, but I do sometimes buy something, which has nothing to do with being abroad or mementos. I don't really have any specific criteria, but it has to be beautiful and useful. Not just something pretty to collect dust on a shelf as a 'memory'.
Many shops are exactly the same in Europe, not matter where you are, so I don't go out with shopping in mind. But I do go wandering around the city, and I do look a shop windows.
The clothes I wore at the wedding last week is dark blue, and I really didn't plan to carry a bag with me, but then I saw this one, which was so different, I couldn't resist buying it. The color is perfect, and it added a little fun to my totally no frills outfit.
But when one thing comes in, another goes, and now my Mandarina Duck Tank bag has finished its time with me. I have had it for many years, and I have used it occasionally at parties, but it holds nothing, and it is difficult to open without things falling out.
A new thing can make a big difference.
Dækket med blå pailletter og i to størrelser. Sjov og brugbar. Bliver ikke meget bedre!
Covered in blue paillettes and two sizes. Fun and useful. Doesn't become much better!
