Krydderier og støv - Spices and Dust

All the big construction machines are making noise outside. I have become used to that, and they aren't noisy all the time. The construction site itself is quite interesting. Something happens every day.

But there is so much dust!

A new rule here in the house is, that now I wash things, before I use them, not after. Or rather both before and after.

It has therefore been necessary to move some thing around in my kitchen to avoid the biggest dust traps, and there are many, because I have open shelving! Normally I love it, because it prevents me from putting things away. Things which should have been in the trash, but there are a lot of things, which aren't normal right now. And it is OK, because 'normal' can become a straitjacket, and when you are challenged, you think new thoughts.

What I did this morning is in the small stuff area, but it is quite nice to change something, so it all of a sudden looks new - even though you have had it for years. Sometimes you have to admit, that you already have everything.

But I moved some dry goods, which normally are on a shelf, down into a drawer, and they changed place with my spices. The spices are 'wrapped' already, so there is no harm.

It looks new, but is old - or different. It doesn't take much renew yourself!
