Jeg havde hyret en stylist!
Fordi: Jeg HADER at shoppe.

A couple of weeks ago I told you, that I was planning something different. It was postphoned, but last Friday was the day.
I had hired a stylist!
Because: I HATE shopping. I run around trying to find something, get tired and overwhelmed, and then I go home. So after having minimized my summer clothes to 10 pices, I saw it as a possibility to build up a basic wardrobe. And that actually happened. Just not the quite the way, I had imagined.
The stylist was sweet, fun and very, very skilled, and it was a good day.
It also became a day with some good learning. I noticed different thing about my clothes, which I never have thought about. I tried a lot of dresses, which I normally never wear, and we came to the conclustion, that even though I was tempted to buy a dress, it isn't 'me' - even though the stylist thought, that I looked good in a lot of them.
So I came home with 7 'basic' pieces of good quality.
The good experience: I taught another way of shopping, and I learned to concentrate on the mission. It was also a relief, that I didn't have to run in and out of dressings rooms to find new things or sizes. She did that!
The bad experience: When you shop this way, it goes fast. I brought fantastic things home, but when I tried them on here, I thought: "When am I going to use this?" Because much of the clothes was simply too formal for my practical life!

I am a practical person. I have my de-clutter-business, where I go and help people de-clutter. I spend a lot of time with a 4 years old boy and a 7 months old girl. I bike, I go on photo tours etc.
So now I have takes 6 of the purchases back. We found a pair of shoes, which - I have to admit - was indecently expensive - but they make me look as if I am wearing heals. They are super comfy, and I haven't worn heals for hears, because my feet will not let me. But with these ones, they will.
The things, which I have returned, are going to be substituted by the same ones - just my version. I have already started :-)
So it was a good experience, and definitely worth the money. I learned, that I have a style, that I have to be true to. So I expect, that I with this new lesson, will become - clothes wise - a better version of myself.
In this process I made a list for the stylist of all my clothes, and it includes gym wear, summer and winter clothes: In total 40 pieces, 7 pairs of shoes/boots, 6 bags. Underwear, night wear, socks not included. So I guess, that it still is a minimalist wardrobe.
This was fun!
