'Nye' øreringe - 'New' Earrings

Many years ago my grandfather had a pair of old coins made into pendants for bracelets for my mother and my godmother, who were cousins. The coins had the back sides grounded down and engraved with my mother's and my godmother's names. When my godmother died, my mother had her coin, and I inherited both. I had them made into earrings, and now I have had them silver plated.
The coins were quite old. One coin has the picture of King Christian the 9th, who was king in the period 1864-1906, and the other has the picture of King Frederik the 8th, who reigned 1906-1912.
It is quite nice to have some jewelry dating back at least 100 years! - and then they are quite cute.
