Lidt tættere på flytning - A Bit Closer To Moving Out

Even though that my rehousing date has been postponed to mid February, I am preparing for the move, as mentioned before.

I have sold some things. Recently it was two small bags and a set of 3 small vases, which I have been quite happy about. Happy should be translated as, that I thought, that it was good things.

Regarding the bags I have always thought, that they were really smart. But when I should go somewhere, where one of them would fit well together with my outfit, I have chosen the bag, I normally use, because I couldn't be bothered moving stuff from one bag to another, or because I I was nervous about forgetting something, if I had to sort the contents, because the bag was smaller than my everyday bag. So I have only used the bags very little. Compared to all the endless times I just have moved them around the house.

The vases were bought as a house warming gift from me to me, when I moved in 7 years ago. They had a permanent spot in the window sill in the kitchen and have never been anywhere else, and they have never been filled with flowers, even though I had big plans with them. I bought them, because I love the colors green and yellow, and they would match some other things, I have in my kitchen. But they actually only stood there. They were something, I just fell for, which hopefully will make me think twice before buying something like that again. There are so many beautiful things out there, but I don't need to own them all.

Even though this is just small stuff, it is exactly what takes up space in a home for things, which actually are in use. So neither the bags nor the vases passed the moving-test, which is, that I imagine, where the things are going to have their place, when I move to my rehousing flat, where I am going to be for approx. 6 months.

Both of the new owners told me, that they have wanted exactly these vases/bags for a long, long time. And I have have just had them lying/standing around, when I just didn't moved them around or dusted them. So they are not missed.

Sometimes our belongings are better off with new owners, who actually appreciate them.
