Når noget går i stykker - When Something Breaks

Well, first of all I hope, that you have had a nice Christmas morning, and that you are enjoying the days off - if you have days off, and if not - that there still is time for having a bit of fun.

We have had a great Christmas eve with the Spanish and Danish family here (one member couldn't come due to work), and it has been super 'hyggeligt' (Danish word for cosy). They are fortunately staying for some days, so everybody get to be together with the smallest favorite persons, who are the only children in the family.

The day before Christmas Day I had the pleasure of having favorite big brother for a sleep-over, and during dinner we managed to drop his bowl with ice cream, and it broke. Luckily the ice cream had been eaten! But there are still 9 (small chinese) bowls left, so we managed dinner the next day by letting one person (me) eat out of another one. The goal is, that everybody gets dessert.

Christmas morning it was all my own doing, when I put something on a shelf and dropped my small  'container' from my 'work tray' with all the small stuff like usb sticks, card reader etc.

So now I could have become a bit irritated, but I didn't, because I have grown a new habit. When I for some reason loose something, I look around and find something to replace the missing 'bit' - and most of the times it works - and so it did this time. I found a small weck glas, and I am actually quite happy with the result, because it takes up less space, and I don't have to invest in anything new.

The more you get used to look around in your own home, before you replace something, the better you get to see new solutions. It is a good feeling to use, what you already have in the house.
