I have just seen a tv-ad, which I really don't know how to react to. Should I become sad or mad!
Imagine: Christmas Day, a Christmas tree, a beautifully decorated room with family members, who don't smile. A girl is picking at her nail polish, a father looking seriously (strickty) at her, and there a couple of more blurred persons. Nobody says anything. The father gets up and hands the girl a present. It is a flat iron (I think), and the girl smiles a bit. Ad over, a sign comes on:
"Let the presents talk!!
Hopefully we haven't got to the point, where we cannot show eachother, that we care, and that we are here for the ones we love - without presents on the table!
It is no use to be sad or mad, that we live in a world, where presents (stuff) means more than conversation and a hug.
But I know, that it is us, who have entered that path, and that it is us, who are the only ones, who can change it. So talk and hug! Love cannot be bought!
