Køber siger, at
Something which will never be sold - my great grandmother's smelling salt bottle
Have you noticed,
how high people, who are selling things, price them?
And have you noticed how little people will pay to get them?
Both parties want to
make a good deal, and both parties have their ideas about, what is
realistic.
Buyer says, that the
item has been used. Seller says that
they cost this much, when they were new.
I believe in selling
things, so they come to good use, but I have only tried it a couple
of times myself, and I don't think that it is easy. I am not a
haggler.
So I have decided,
that I don't want to spend a lot of time selling something for a
relatively small amount. The effort is simply too much. I will
rather give it away to a secondhand store, which gives the money to a
purpose, with which I sympathize. So that is why I give away my
stuff.
I must admit, that
it works better for me to buy something new and use it, until it is
worn out.
But if you want to
sell something, go the the internet and see, what other people take
for similar things. You can use it as a guideline, but it is
important to make up your mind about, how far you want to go down in
price. And if you sell a thing, which a lot of other people also is
selling right now, you have to give buyer a lower price, if you
really want to sell. A little is better than nothing.
The best economy is
always to buy after careful consideration, to buy quality, and to buy
something timeless.
