Nu er den endelig ankommet. Jeg har sparet op, lagt ordren og ventet i 6 uger, og nu er jeg ejer af en special edition Y-stol af Hans J. Wegner. Ikke en kopi, men den ægte vare. Danish design lavet i Danmark. Special edition betyder i denne sammenhæng, at hvis man bestilte en stol inden 2. april, ville den få indgraveret Wegner's signature og datoen for hans 100 år. Jeg er så glad. Jeg ved godt, at jeg kunne have købt en brugt. Men jeg har ikke lyst til at have andres patina (læs: pletter) på mine ting. Dem skal jeg lave selv! Min patinering! Den er en mesterværk.

Special edition means here that if you ordered a chair before April 2nd, it would be engraved with Wegner's signature, and the date for his 100 years. I am so happy. I know that I could have bought a second hand chair cheaper, but I didn't feel like living with other people's patina (read: spots) on my things. I can make those myself! My patina! It is a masterpiece.
